The Shepherds keeping watch over their flocks on that first Christmas Eve had no idea what they were about to witness. When an angel announced the Savior's birth, they hurried to the stable where they found Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus. They knelt in adoration and gave thanks to God for sending His only Son.
